FRED WROOLIE
I’m a Film Production BA (Hons) graduate from the University of Portsmouth currently based in-between Oxford and London. I’ve tried a litany of different roles across the student projects and short films I’ve been a part of, but I shine brightest as a Producer.
Across my student projects, I have gained experience in team management, direction, production scheduling and coordination, reaching out to and securing locations and cast/crew members, raising and allocating funding for short films and the generation/distribution of production documents.

SMALL PROJECTS
Below is a collection of smaller solo creations, experimentations and procrastination projects.
Water being poured into a cup (2020)
This is a silly video I made overnight in lockdown 2020. I’d just found the variable frame rate setting on my Canon M50 and shot this as a fun little test. I put it together in Premiere Pro and uploaded it to my Youtube along with a faux title and description as if it were a long term high effort project.
regret. (2021)
Dumb video I made in an afternoon/evening in 2021. Created to test some cool text message overlays I made in After Effects.
On The Run (2020)
This is a short film shot over a couple days during lockdown 2020 I managed to convince my Dad to star in. I was still getting the hang of using blocking and editing to make two shots/scenes seem like they’re happening at the same time.
frickin VROOM (2019)
I made this while teaching myself Blender shortly before Covid. Voice acting and sound effects are by me.
